PT Matra Unikatama was founded in 1997 with the main business in chemicals. In 2000 the company became involved in the oil, gas and geothermal industry by providing engineering and chemical services for drilling fluids in Indonesia

PT Matra Unikatama is a affiliated company of PT Unichem Candi Indonesia which PT UniChem Candi Indonesia is one of the largest oil and gas drilling chemical producer in Indonesia

PT Matra Unikatama has provided services of drilling and completion fluid chemicals for oil and gas industry since 2002. The first customers for our drilling mud services were JOB Pertamina Petrochina East Java (JOB-PPEJ) and Chevron Pacific Indonesia (CPI)
